Dr. Smruti Patel graduated from Baroda Medical College, Gujarat. After finishing her undergraduate medical education, she persuaded her pediatric residency training at Baroda medical college.

During this time, she found her true clinical interest lay in the care of neurologically impaired children. She has worked as an Assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Sumandeep Medical college, and Hospital, Vadodara, Gujarat.

Later she underwent a two years training program in Pediatric Neurology from the prestigious institute Christian Medical College, Vellore. Following her fellowship training, she moved to Baroda and where she is currently practicing.

She has a special interest in Pediatric Epilepsy, Stroke, and Movement Disorder.
